The Place Church
The Challenge
The Place Church’s social media presence was disorganized and disjointed. Inconsistent posting, no clear visual identity, and low engagement across platforms. The congregation wasn’t finding their way to it, and it wasn’t reflecting the life and energy of the community it represented.
What I Did
As Social Media Director, I brought structure and intention to The Place’s online presence by developing a consistent content calendar, established a cohesive visual brand, and introduced regular mini-series. The goal was the same as it is for every TOLD Collective partnership: reveal what was already there, and communicate it with clarity and consistency.
The Result
Consistent posting became the foundation for consistent growth moving from sporadic, disorganized content to a reliable content calendar is what made every other number possible
Views grew across every platform from a combined handful of hundreds and low thousands to tens and hundreds of thousands, including a 7,034% increase on YouTube and 1,815% on Instagram
Engagement followed the same trajectory Facebook engagement grew 55%, YouTube saw a 4,129% increase in likes, and TikTok grew 1,271x from a standing start
A cohesive, recognizable presence people now expect. Social media that became a place the congregation actively looks forward to, not an afterthought they'd forgotten existed
Real Growth, Real Results
A 194-day comparison across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube measuring the period before I took over social media management against an equal period beforehand.
